The Deputy Prosecutor General Mnacakan Sargsyan and the Prosecutor General of Moldova Valeriu Zubco signed Memorandum of Understanding between the General Prosecutor’s Office of Armenia and the General Prosecutor’s Office Moldova on January 29 in Kishinev.

The sides highlighted the development of bilateral relations for the prevention and fight against criminality, corruption and money laundering, human trafficking and especially organized and trans-border and agreed to provide legal assistance to each other. Besides it was planned to organize mutual visits with the purpose to discuss issues of mutual interest for the exchange of experience.

The Prosecutor General of Moldova Valeriu Zubco called the Memorandum “a factor of dialogue and support”. Mnacakan Sargsyan said that though there are Memorandums signed within the framework of CIS, the presence of bilateral documents contributes to the efficiency of cooperation and exchange of experience when struggling against criminality.
