The Committee to Protect Freedom of Expression conducted a monitoring of the websites of the state authorities of the Republic of Armenia from February 15 to April 15 which is the continuation of the similar monitoring conducted in 2010 and 2011.

On 14May, 2012 the Prosecutor of Shirak region tasked the head of Shirak Department of the Police K. Babakekhyan to undertake active operative-investigative measures, find out the persons in a short period of time and conduct investigation.

14.05.2012 Materials prepared on the report made by the “GALA” TV journalist

On 11 May, 2012, the journalist of the “GALA” TV of Gyumri N. Nalbandyan reported that on 5 May, 2012, at about 07:00 p.m., he had gone to the polling station 33 located in School 30 of Gyumri with the purpose to get explanations from the commission. The commission chairman G. Hovhannisyan had refused to provide information, quarreled with him and hindered the implementation of his activities.
